RDF

Refuse derived fuel (RDF) is an alternative source of energy apart from gas, coal, etc. that can be easily created with the help of our heavy-duty slow-speed shredders. As long as these materials meet BTU requirements, they can be used to create RDF. In order to create RDF, the materials must first be shredded down to a usable size, which is where our slow-speed shredders come in! Large MSW and bulky general waste is preprocessed and reduced in volume up to 75% thanks to these shredders’ heavy-duty steel shafts turned by powerful motors to produce exceptional torque at efficient throughput rates. Any valuable materials are extracted from the usable RDF material via a magnetic separator. Once the waste has been preprocessed, it can then be gathered for further processing and condensing to manufacture RDF.
