The Screenpod Airvac Range stands out for its exceptional separation of lights and heavies in conveyed material waste streams. This innovative solution seamlessly integrates into diverse materials processing operations, catering to a wide array of applications. Available in both diesel and electric drive variants, these machines are versatile in blower and suction functionalities, ensuring high throughput, cost-effectiveness, and quick setup times. Housed in a compact and easily transportable package, the Airvac Range is managed through a clear and user-friendly interface.

The Airvac employs two distinct methods to sort lights and heavies in a material stream on a conveyor:

  1. Vacuum Head: Strategically positioned over the material stream, the vacuum head connects to the Airvac inlet via a hose. As the Airvac's fan rotates, any light material passing under the vacuum head is pulled up through it, sucked through the fan inlet, and ejected out of the Airvac outlet. The separated light material can then be directed to a skip or collection area, effectively isolating it from the heavier material on the conveyor.

  2. Air-Knife: Positioned and connected to the Airvac outlet via a hose, the Air-knife features a large circular inlet and a wide, narrow outlet. Utilizing the fan's rotation, the Air-knife evenly distributes airflow across the conveyor's width. As the air stream passes through the material, lighter components are carried away, effectively separating them from the heavier material.
