The Airvac 4 1200E is a compact yet efficient lights recovery separation system comprising an adjustable suction head unit which can befitted to a stockpile conveyoror screenbox, and a free standing suction fan unit.

This innovative technology efficiently sorts lights and heavies in a material stream using two distinct methods:

Vacuum Head: The vacuum head is strategically positioned over the material stream, connected to the Airvac via a hose. As the Airvac's fan rotates, any light material passing under the vacuum head is pulled up through it, getting suctioned through the fan inlet, and ejected out of the Airvac outlet. The separated light material can then be directed to a skip or collection area, effectively isolating it from the heavier material on the conveyor.

Air-Knife: The Air-knife, also strategically positioned, is connected to the Airvac outlet via a hose. Featuring a large circular inlet and a wide, narrow outlet, the Air-knife leverages the rotating fan's airflow to evenly distribute it across the conveyor's width. As the air stream passes through the material, the lighter components are carried away, effectively separating them from the heavier material.
