As the Airvac's fan rotates, the vacuum head pulls up any light material passing under it, guiding it through the fan inlet and ejecting it out of the Airvac outlet. This separated light material can be directed to a skip or collection area, effectively isolating it from the heavier material on the conveyor.

2. Air-Knife: Strategically positioned and connected to the Airvac outlet via a hose, the Air-knife features a large circular inlet and a wide, narrow outlet. The Air-knife utilizes the fan's rotation to evenly distribute airflow across the conveyor's width. As the air stream passes through the material, lighter components are carried away, effectively separating them from the heavier material.
